XCL was founded July 7th, 2003 after a terrific response to some all-Canadian, Canada Day Midtown Madness 3 games. XCL is a community of like-minded, mature gamers (in attitude, not necessarily age). XCL is all about enjoying good online games with good people and some fun conversation via the forums with none of the spamming, fanboy crap and/or cheating so often found in other forums and public Live games. XCL is made up primarily of Canadians but is open to all nationalities. XCL is open to those aged 18 years and over only. Participation both online and the forums is not only encouraged it is required in order to maintain membership. Glitch exploiters, cheaters, spammers, hackers, etc need not apply.

Upon applying to XCL, new applicants will receive an email from management. You must respond to the email in order to be considered for membership. New members are subject to a probationary period and are expected to first read the detailed XCL Guidelines located in the Introduction forum and then post a quick note about yourself (age, locations, etc) in that same section to introduce yourself to everyone. Members’ forum conduct is monitored closely by the admininstrators. Management reserves the right to handle all issues at their discretion.
